A very busy and fruitful summer!

Stu celebrated Father's Day with elder Moses, Pastor Carlos and youth Pastor Mark from Minnesota with the typical Mexican moustache.

The Minnesota youth team visited the Puebla city hall and discovered the city was established in 1531.

Youth enjoyed playing soccer as the bonfire was prepared.

The gals from the team taught crafts to the ladies and shared their testimonies.

The team was invited to visit a local school.

The drama communicated how Jesus helps young people overcome temptations.

The team did maintenance projects like painting and sealing gaps where birds were entering the sanctuary.

The Friday night concert with three bands drew several churches and visitors with an evangelistic focus.

After the family festival on Saturday morning, the Minnesota team was introduced and shared the gospel.

This symbolic decoration represents the US and Mexican collaboration between Grace Church Roseville (roses) and the Sembrador "Sower" Church (wheat).

The Sembrador Church took a farewell photo with the Minnesota team.

Andrea returned from northern Mexico to join the Summer Missionary training team and shared with the youth about her first five months serving as a missionary-nurse with the Tarahumara ethnic group (Feb-July).

Cristina enjoyed teaching the missionary story "Ringu of India" to the Summer Missionaries.

We trained these 22 Mexican youth to do three weeks of evangelistic kids clubs in July.

Our leadership team of the Summer Missionary Project includes five young women, two couples, and three cooks.

We enjoyed getting to know the four youth from Tlapa.  Two of them know Spanish well, but the other two preferred their mother tongue MePha.  Miguel is next to Stu.

During our closing gathering for the Summer Missionary Project on August 8, Priscila shared about her exploratory trip to the Philippines in July and her call to reach the Muslims there.  She served in this ministry for several years.

Daniel enjoyed teaching at the Sembrador VBS--this is one of the four groups that he taught.

Here are the Sembrador VBS leaders including teachers, cooks, and group leaders.

Parents and families were invited to the final celebration at the end of the VBS week.

Adrian and Anabel with their two children are interested in starting outreach in their community, which is about 20 minutes from the church.

Erica enjoyed meeting the Sembrador leaders and their families during her visit to Puebla in August.

We moved to this house on the day after Erica left (Aug 22) where we pay less rent and have the option to buy.

Stu has shared in several local churches about using the power of questions through coaching.

This is one of the two Parenting groups that Stu and Cristina are teaching on Sundays--one group before and the other after the worship service (Sep-Nov).

We enjoyed wonderful teaching and fellowship times with fellow Camino Global missionaries at our annual conference (Sep29-Oct2)

Our Wednesday small group with church leaders is studying "the 8 Habits of an effective small group leader" (Sep-Nov).  Paco and Reyna on the left came with their one-month-old daughter.
