Sowing and Reaping through the Summer Missionary Project

Karen is beginning her final year of studies at the Puebla Bible Seminary.  She served for many years with the Summer Missionary project and is now on the leadership team for this ministry.

Pablo and Cris were married on March 22.  He is a high school teacher and she is a veterinarian.  They plan to travel to Europe this summer to investigate opportunities to serve as missionaries.  They have a heart to reach the Muslims in England and currently are involved in missions mobilization here in Mexico.  Pablo served as a Summer Missionary in 2002.

Cristina was so grateful to see her father Santos at Easter and to know that he is recovering well from the foot amputation in January.  Pray for God's work in Santos' life.

Cristina was surprised by the family celebration we planned for her 50th birthday in Costa Rica.

We enjoyed making memories with Cristina's family at Easter.  Danny always enjoys seeing his cousins, aunts and uncles, and his grandparents.

In April we hosted our missionary T2 team in our home.  We are currently seven families with Camino Global in Puebla, and expecting the arrival of two new families this summer.

After our "Seek First" retreat, we enjoyed visiting Tequisquiapan with Pastor Carlos and Moises with their families.

Danny enjoyed taking classes at Puebla Christian school this past semester and making lots of new friends.  Here he is with his choir class at a Spring Concert in May.

Here is the entrance to the Sembrador (The Sower) Bible Church in Puebla where we began to partner in March for local and global missions.

In May we were thrilled to see Priscila (next to Cristina) as she visited churches in Puebla in preparation for a missions trip to the Philippines in July.  She will be investigating opportunities to reach Muslims as a career missionary.  Priscila was trained as a Summer Missionary in 2004 and served on the leadership team for many years.  Pray for God's direction and provision for Priscila.

Cristina shared her testimony and call to missions at a campfire during this "New Generation for Missions" Conference on May 30.  We are excited to see these Mexican young professionals seeking opportunities for missionary service.

We enjoyed meeting this family who is also seeking God's direction as career missionaries, possibly reaching Muslims in the Philippines also.  Mariely served as a Summer Missionary in 2002, but we just met her family this month.  Stu began coaching with her husband Isaac this week.
Obed graduated from the Puebla Bible seminary this week--here he is shown with the Director Luis Trujillo.  Obed and his wife Ariana (who is taking a picture), both served as Summer Missionaries and are in ministry with a church in Mexico City.  They were married last year.
This team of 14 youth and leaders arrive today to serve with us and the Sembrador church for youth outreach and other church projects from June 19-29.  Pray for God to use them and to work in their own hearts as well!
